Dave “Shoe” Schumacher grew up outside of Boston in Arlington, Massachusetts. He studied broadcasting at Emerson College. A lifelong Boston sports fan he moved to Maine to work in radio. He has been the host of the Morning Jab for 20 years interviewing a number of athletes/celebrities and providing the area with the longest running sports talk radio show. Shoe lives in South Portland with his wife. They spend most of the summer on a lake in Oxford, ME
Joe Palmieri, born in Philadelphia, grew up on a farm in the “Blueberry Capital of the World”, Hammonton, New Jersey. Joe graduated from Emerson College. Before moving to sports and The Big Jab, Joe was a television journalist. He worked in markets throughout the country and CNN for more than 20 years covering major events including presidential campaigns and the USA trip of Pope John Paul. Joe and his wife Cheryl live in South Portland and can be seen biking throughout Southern Maine.
Dan Patrick, is a sportscaster from Mason, Ohio. He hosts The Dan Patrick Show broadcast on radio on Premeire radio networks. He co-hosted NBC’s football Night in America. He worked at ESPN for 18 years, where he often anchored the weeknight and Sunday 11 p.m. edition of Sportscenter.
Broadcasting from near Los Angeles, California, Rome hosts the Jim Rome Show. For a number of years Rome hosted a tv show on ESPN. The Jim Rome Show is tied for the #21 most listened to talk radio show in the United States and Rome is the #29 most influential talk radio personality according to Talkers Magazine.
Javier Gorriti, a former hockey player for the Black Bears, graduated from Umaine Orono in 1998. Upon graduation, after one year in the CHL, Gorriti entered the workforce. In the fall of 2008 Javier decided that he wanted to pursue his lifelong dream of working in sports radio and joined WJJB and the PM JAB. Gorrit is now the host of the PM Jab working alongside Chris Sedenka.
Chris Sedenka is the co-host of The PM Jab. A native of Maryland, Sedenka moved to Gorham at a young age, where he would grow up. After graduation in 1999, Sedenka spent the next few years not making it as a rock star. He eventually found his way to Morgantown, WV and graduated WVU with a journalism degree. Ever since, Sedenka has been heard on the Big JAB, as well as Maine Red Claws broadcasts. In his free time, Sedenka enjoys sailing, skiing, bowling and spending time with his wife, three cats and dog.
